Yoga Classes

There's a magic about classes with Atma Gyanam. From the tuning in at the beginning, helping you let go of accumulated stress, to the way the static (asana) and moving (vinyasa) postures are taught in a way that not only improves your mobility and strength but that restores your energy, faith in yourself, and connection with yourself, others, and Life (that's Yoga!). They naturally include breathwork (pranayama) and end with guided relaxation (yoga nidra) that gives an opportunity to heal at every level.

Each class is 75mins and can be enjoyed regardless of your experience with yoga or fitness level (as long as you can make it up the stairs). These classes are a safe and inspiring place for all.

Atma Gyanam has developed a style of approaching yoga posture, breath, and relaxation based on deep research and decades of personal practice. He calls it Bhava Yoga and if provoked with go on an over excited spiel about it for ages. Bhava means a 'feeling of being' and the approach allows you to access the body, energy, mind, and beyond in each exercise. Each class does this with a slightly different emphasis.

Mondays 10am - Prana & Posture

This is a great way to start the week, recharged and connected to the source of your energy.

Tuesdays 6pm - Alignment and Focus

By holding the postures with attention to alignment, the body and mind both release tensions and build focus.

Meditate with a master, meditation brings great peace of mind, and by mastering the mind you master the part of you that is involved with everything else in your ilfe.

Wednesdays 6pm - Bhava Yoga

Chakras are one of the most useful ideas in Yoga, they help us focus on a particular area in the body and mind to release underlaying tensions that rule your life from the unconscious.
